The objectives of the RTI/UNC Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC) are: (1) to
produce methodologically rigorous systematic reviews and analyses of the
scientific literature on clinical, organizational and financing systems topics;
(2) to update prior EPC reports; (3) provide technical assistance to
professional organizations, providers, policymakers, etc. to better understand
the methodology and conclusions in the EPC evidence reports in order to
facilitate translation of the reports into quality improvement tools,
educational programs, and reimbursement policies and; (4) to conduct EPC methods
research. This is a five-year task order contract with individual projects to be
bid upon throughout the contract period.
