To provide a structural umbrella to formulate research partnerships among institutions in North Carolina and increase outreach to minority institutions and mentor researchers in issues of minority aging. Project examined the level of racial separation among assisted living facilities and nursing homes in various states and the social and economic variables that correlated with this separation.
