Facilities

The Center of Survey Research is located on the second floor of the Institute for Health, Social, and Community Research (IHSCR) building. The Center is outfitted with 12 calling stations, the most at any Historically Black College or University.  Each sound absorbent station is equipped with a Dell PC, NEC Electra Elite IPK telephone, and a Plantronics Supra noise-canceling headset.  In addition to paper-and-pencil surveys, the Center uses computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) to collect data.  The CSR uses WinCati/Sensus 4.2 CATI software and is capable of conducting surveys in single or mixed-mode.
